Join the Half a String Board:

We are looking for engaged individuals with a passion for the arts to join our incredible team of board members. Help evolve the flourishing Half a String into a sustainable arts organisation over the next 3 years! We ideally are looking for 2 members to join over the winter period. 

As part of the role you will be expected to:
  • Attend Board meetings 3 times a year. Usually lasting 1.5hrs. 
  • Use your specialist skills, knowledge and experience to help the board and company reach sound decisions. 
  • Act as ambassador for Half a String.

Who we are looking for? We have some specific areas of expertise we are looking for but not limited to:
  • Financial expertise within a small organisation.
  • Administration experience within a small organisation.
  • Previous experience of sitting on a board. 
  • Knowledge of funding available to small arts organisations.
